This project explores the phenomenon of the dramatic expansion in the production, dissemination and consumption of information, which served both to reinforce and to further the dynamic processes associated with globalisation.We have a core set of papers, but are seeking additional ones that explore aspects of introduction of foreign knowledge into China and Taiwan, its localisation and dissemination, and where appropriate, its intersection with commercial interests through prints.
