Call for Papers-International Journal of Social Policy Research and Development. The Journal is a publication of the International Centre for Social Policy Research and Development. The aim of the centre is to promote interdisciplinary research and undertake publications on critical development challenges confronting developing and transitional economies.
The Journal of Social Policy Research and Development considers manuscripts for publication if they meet internationally accepted standards in writing research reports. Therefore manuscripts that provide multidisciplinary approach to social problems or chart a new course in proffering new ways of tackling contemporary development challenges will be favored.
The entre engages the highest level of professionalism and strict peer reviews in the process of assessing manuscripts put together for publication in the journal. Articles are invited from interested scholars and researchers on the general theme:
Issues and Challenges of Globalization and Governance
Articles that address some underpinning conceptual and methodological issues of globalization and the footprint of corporate capitalism, control and exploitation of natural resources are most welcome.
Sub-theme
Competition and emerging markets; Control and corporate governance, Public policy and role of government; Global security and conflict; Labor unions, negotiation and resolutions; Political challenges to neoliberal ideology and policies; Media and the use of information technologies; The globalization of knowledge and pedagogy; Environmental justice movements , local and global resistance to IMF, World Bank, and WTO practices; Social theory and movements for race, gender, class equality among others.
Important Dates:
All papers must be submitted by the 30th of June 2012
Notification of acceptance will be sent by 30th of September 2012
