This summer school focuses on the late medieval and early modern European court residence or ‘palace’ in an interdisciplinary perspective. The summer school will offer lectures on this topic by an international group of experts, as well as field trips to various castles and residences in The Netherlands and Germany. Participation is free and open to both MA and PhD students. The application deadline is 15 April 2012.
