Colleagues,
We invite you to take a short survey to support our research on oral histories in repositories. Our goal is to capture a snapshot of the current state of oral histories in repositories in order to identify the greatest curating needs and create a baseline for further research. We will share the results with the profession as widely as possible.
Our success is dependent on the broadest possible participation.
Your answers are important to us, regardless of the size of your repository, the size of your collection within a repository, or the location of your institution.
It should take 15-20 minutes and consists of mostly multiple choice questions that you can answer at a single sitting. Just click on the link at the bottom of this message to begin. You can also access the survey by going to the survey information webpage, http://www.nancymackay.net/oral-history/curatingoralhistoriessurvey. Please complete before March 30.
Thank you in advance!
Cordially,
Nancy MacKay MLIS, Instructor, School of Library and Information Science, San Jose State University
Emily Vigor, MA, MLIS candidate, School of Library and Information Science, San Jose State University
