Dear Colleagues -
I am currently seeking abstracts for the upcoming Midwest Popular Culture Association/Midwest American Culture Association conference. Topics for the health division can include, but are not limited to social construction of illness, health issues in the media, video games and health, and online support groups. Case studies, theoretical and empirical explorations of all methods are all welcome.
Send paper, abstract, or proposal including the title of the presentation to the appropriate MPCA/MACA Area Chair (available at ).
Note: Please do not submit the same item to more than one Area Chair. Deadline for receipt of proposals is April 30, 2012.
Please send 250 word abstract proposals, or completed papers, on any aspect of Health and Popular Culture to the online submission site:
