drafthorse is a biannual online publication of fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, visual narrative, and other media art where work, occupation, labor—or lack of the same—is in some way intrinsic to a narrative’s potential for epiphany.

We are currently looking for Visual Art submissions which explore these themes.

Visual arts submissions should include a brief artist statement along with 5-10 representative sample images (resolution dpi, dimensions on longest side 1000 pixels) or link to a web portfolio.
