Please join us in Grand Forks, North Dakota as we host the 43rd Annual UND Writers Conference to be held March 22—31, 2012 with the theme “humanimal.” Through this theme, we hope to explore the various intersections of the human and animal worlds – as pets, livestock, food, predator and prey – in the works and discussions of our authors. Featured speakers include Pulitzer Prize-winning author Jane Smiley, renowned poet and memoirist Mark Doty, Pam Houston, Brenda Miller, Lee Ann Roripaugh, Hal Herzog, and Aaron Poochigian in addition to our full schedule of panels, community readings and workshops.
All events take place on the UND campus and are free and open to the public.
