HBI Seminar Series - Gender Culture, Religion and the Law - Spring Semester 2013

The HBI continues to accept applications for our spring 2013 residential seminar devoted to the field of Gender, Culture, Religion and the Law. Scholars working on exploring conflicts between women's claims to gender equality and legal norms justified in terms of religious and cultural traditions, and those examining the status of women under religious law, either within a single tradition, or using cross-cultural or interdisciplinary approaches are invited to apply for this semester long residency.
