“Asia as the Crossroads of World History, 600-1800”
Our keynote speakers will be China specialist Pamela Crossley, Professor of History at Dartmouth College and co-author of The Earth and Its People: A Global History and Xinru Liu, professor of History at The College of New Jersey and author of The Silk Road in World History. Gettysburg College will continue to supply professors and able support staff to make the week a productive and enriching experience.

Registration fees include all workshops and sessions, a battlefield field tour, single housing in a campus dorm with private bath, 5 breakfasts, 5 lunches, and 4 dinners. The institute will enhance your understanding of both content and pedagogical methods, provide stimulating conversation, useful information, access to resources, and the opportunity to work on group or individual projects. And you will earn 4.5 continuing education units for the week, or 45 Act 48 Credits for PA teachers!
