Children in Text, Person and Theory
Thursday, 19 April 2012 at the University of Toronto
Our workshop aims to examine methodological approaches utilized in the study and construction of children and childhood. We welcome researchers who engage with this growing field from a transnational perspective, find links between disciplinary discourses and challenge existing scholarship on minors. The workshop will consist of 20-min presentations on current projects followed by group discussion. In a collaborative atmosphere to asking creative research questions, building new knowledge and addressing methodological queries, participants will come away with a greater array of analytical tools for their own research.
If you are interested in presenting at the workshop, please send a 250 word abstract and short bio to the organizers before 20 March 2012.
