Deadline Extension and Reminder: “Worlds Out of Joint: Re-Imagining Philip K. Dick” (15-18 November, 2012)
Those wishing to present a paper at the international conference on Philip K. Dick at Dortmund University, Germany, are reminded that the deadline for submitting a proposal has been extended until March 31, 2012. Confirmed speakers include: Marc Bould (University of the West of England, Bristol), Roger Luckhurst (Birbeck, University of London), Norman Spinrad (New York/Paris), Takayuki Tatsumi (Keio University, Japan) and Umberto Rossi (Rome).
Possible topics for panels and papers include :
The Realist Novels, Transnational Approaches, Dick’s Global Reception, Dick and the SF Tradition, Dick and Fandom, Narrative Structures and Aesthetics, Dick and Mainstream Literature, Adaptations, The Letters and Journals, The Final Novels, Dick and the Sixties, Dick and Global Capitalism.
