Abstracts wanted for wildcard session panel on the Virgin Mary to be presented at the American Academy of Religion Conference in Chicago, November 2012.
Of particular interest is research pertaining to Marian apparition sites or Marian shrines and analysis of the negotiation of power and authority taking place there. However, all abstracts having to do with research on the Virgin Mary and her role in the devotional lives of Christians will be considered.
