Learn about the Cold War while studying in the heart of Europe. We will use films, music, novels, and monographs to study the Cold War struggle between East and West, and how the Cold War was lived in Czechoslovakia. The program includes weekend excursions to historical sites.
Students may also sign up for up to 5 credits from classes including Czech Film, Gender and Post-Socialist Transformation in Central Europe, Czech Language I or II. A 1-credit field study in Vienna, Budapest, and Bratislava is also offered for an additional fee.
