Summer Program in Spanish and Community Service in Argentina and Uruguay.
Community Development Partners for the Americas (CDPA) is offering students and interested faculty an opportunity to travel to Argentina this Summer to participate in a 3 week long program devoted to study of Spanish and to engage in community service at various sites serving the poor and the homeless. Part of the program includes an exploration of the "social" sector in Argentina and Latin America, including cooperatives, unions, universities and liberation theologians. The cost of the program is $2,518 and it includes lodging, all meals, tuition for Spanish classes, all transfers and activities, as well as many excursions to natural sites and Indigenous communities.
