We cordially invite undergraduate students from our partner Universities to take part in the interdisciplinary, five-week study abroad program on “Renewable Energy: Policy and Development”. Take advantage of the opportunity of exchanging opinions on German and international efforts with experts from academia, politics, international organizations and businesses as well as summer school participants from a variety of different academic backgrounds!
Join us in Bonn and on excursions to Berlin, Cologne, Aachen, to the National Research Center Juelich and to Brussels where you will have the opportunity to discuss current issues with representatives from German, European and international institutions and experience developments in renewable energy first-hand. The program in 2012 will specifically focus on the interrelations of renewables, climate change and food security. Therefore, new resources will be critically evaluated in terms of their energy-saving potential and their likelihood of triggering human conflict.
