The American Society of Church History has been the premier learned society in America for the study of church history for 125 years, and meets regularly in conjunction with the American Historical Association in January. From now until March 15, the ASCH invites panels for its January 2013 meeting in New Orleans addressing some aspect of the history of Christianity in Asia, Africa, Latin America or Oceania. Increased interest in global Christianity and missionary movements has made topics in non-Western Christianity among the most exciting and well attended panels at recent ASCH meetings. Scholars with expertise in any of these areas are strongly encouraged to submit panel proposals. The call for papers, which includes all guidelines for submission, is found at the following link: http://www.churchhistory.org/conferences-meetings/.
