The organising committee for the annual conference of the Australia New Zealand Law and History Association issues a call for papers or panels. The conference will be December 10-12 2012, Sydney, Australia. The theme of the conference is Receiving Laws/Giving Laws. The theme of the conference orients us towards the movement, transmission and transformation of laws and their histories – across Empire, through time, in and between genres and disciplines. The receiving and giving of laws could be addressed in a broad range of ways. We encourage submissions from legal historians from any jurisdiction on this topic. Further information, including on the conference theme, is available on the conference website.
