JIOS is an interdisciplinary journal that publishes innovative research on inter-governmental organisations. We welcome papers from all disciplines that engage with the history, functioning or change of international organisations. Policy-research is as welcome as more theoretical work explaining the phenomenon of international organisations. We are particularly interested in studies of organisations that are rarely covered, such as smaller regional organisations, African, Middle Eastern and Latin American organisations.
