FIRST CALL for papers for the 2012 NEPCA Conference to be held Oct. 26-27 at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY.
This call is for submissions to the Religion/ Religious Studies area and all topics relevant to religion/ religious studies and popular culture will be considered. However, given the election year that is upon us, papers that address the interface of religion/ politics and (popular) culture are greatly encouraged. Individual papers are generally 15-20 minutes in length and NEPCA encourages creative delivery of papers, although of course traditional presentations are accepted. NEPCA has always offered a nurturing environment in whihc new ideas and works-in-progress canbe shared. Graduate students are welcome.
Please send a 1-2 page proposal and one-page cv to the Chair of the NEPCA Religion/ Religious Studies, June-Ann Greeley at greeleyj@sacredheart.edu by May 28, 2012.
