About ICSI-CCGRT

ICSI- CCGRT , has been established by the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, a Statutory body in corporate under the an Act of parliament and inaugurated by the then Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Dr. A.S Anand in May 1999.

The primary Mission and objective of ICSI-CCGRT is to act as a catalyst organization in the professional development of the Indian Corporate sector. The Centre with residential facilities is equipped with excellent infrastructure support ideal for research and training. ICSI-CCGRT, apart from organizing a number of executive development programs for the benefit of the corporate and financial sector, has also conducted several research studies.

About Conference

ICSI-CCGRT is pleased to announce Conference on “Corporate Governance- A way forward” in Navi Mumbai. The main objective of this conference is to bring to the forefront the strong realization that good corporate governance does promote global competitiveness.

This Conference can help identify talk discusses key areas where companies can improve the substance of their corporate governance, including promoting high ethical standards and emerging issues and practices in India.

Contemporary issues in Corporate Governance Schedule Wednesday, March 21, and Thursday, March 22, 2012 from 09.30 a.m. to 05.30 p.m. at ICSI-CCGRT, Plot No. 101, Sector 15, Institutional Area, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai – 400 614. Methodology The methodology will primarily be by way of presentation of selected papers on the subject by the participants. Important dates Last date for receipt of abstract is 29th February, 2012 Selected authors will be invited for a presentation on March 21 & 22, 2012. Notification to authors will be given within a week of receipt of abstract. Full papers not exceeding 4000 words should be submitted by Wednesday, March 14, 2012 along with the registration fee.

Highlights

The best presenters will be invited to a workshop the next day at IMC, Church gate on “Integrity at work” being conducted by Mr. Kevin Moore, Chartered MCSI, Director, Global Business Development, CISI, London Submission guidelines Participants interested in submitting papers may send the abstracts of their papers, comprehensively covering the sub-theme they intend to cover.

The abstract (800-1000 words) along with 5-8 key words and details of author (name, designations, organization, email address, contact no.) in MS word’s doc/docx. file (font size of 12, Times Romans) should be sent to conferenceicsiccgrt@gmail.com The paper should contain title page indicating the theme and sub theme along with author’s details separately.

Note Panel decision for selection of abstract by participants will be final; Submission of papers/ abstract after the given deadline will not be entertained.

The conference will provide a discussion spot among academicians, researchers, Corporates, members and students of ICSI.

Benefits to Participants

Registered papers will be circulated among the Dignitaries and attendees. Authors of selected research paper would be invited to present their work through ppt. Notification of which will be given in advance. Best presenters will be given chance to participate in ICSI-CCGRT foundation day. Award and Recognition All registered participants will get a certificate of participation.

CALL FOR RESEARCH PROPOSALS

Please provide the following information:

The title of your research paper (indicating the theme and sub-theme mention in the announcement). Abstract should be minimum of 800-1000 word along with 4-5 key words. Full Research Paper not exceeding 4000 words. Please provide a one paragraph personal biography.

If you are interested in presenting, please send your abstract before 29th February, 2012 Selected authors will be invited for a presentation on March 21 & 22, 2012.
All abstracts of registered participants will be circulated in the program.
Final papers with registration form should be Send to Ms. Pratima Jain at conferenceicsiccgrt@gmail.com and mail to The Dean, ICSI-CCGRT, Plot No. 101, Sector -15, Institutional Area, CBD Belapur, Navi Mumbai – 400 614.
The deadline for proposals is before 29th February, 2012.
