Speaker: Dr David Day (University of Cambridge)
Dr. Dave Day is a senior lecturer in the Department of Exercise and Sport Science at Manchester Metropolitan University where his research interests focus on the history of coaching practice and training and the biographies of nineteenth and early twentieth century British coaches. He completed his doctorate at De Montfort University on coaching practices and coaching lives in nineteenth and early twentieth century England in 2008, and has had articles published in Sport in History and in the Leisure Studies Association Publication series.
