The H-Empire editorial team is organizing a teaching panel for the 127th Annual Meeting of the American Historical Association (New Orleans, 3-6 January 2013) on pedagogical approaches to comparative histories of empire. The conceptual scope will be dictated by the approaches and themes of the proposals, but paper proposals ought to focus on strategies and approaches to teaching histories of empire across time and space at the undergraduate or graduate level. Please submit your proposal abstract (up to 500 words) and a biographical paragraph or c.v. summary to Charles Reed (cvreed@mail.ecsu.edu), List Editor of H-Empire, no later than 11:59 pm ET on Friday, 10 February.
