The New York State Association of European Historians invites proposals for papers on any topic in European history for their annual conference to be held at SUNY Oswego, October 5-6, 2012. In this commemorative year of the War of 1812, we especially welcome our Americanist and trans-Atlantic specialist colleagues to suggest papers or panels concerning any aspect of the war of 1812. We also strongly encourage graduate student participation and welcome panels and proposals on their work in progress. Proposals for papers and/or panels should be submitted to Lyn Blanchfield and Katherine Clark via email by April 30, 2012 (please send your proposal to both email addresses):
