Mr. Özdalga, a member of the EU-Turkey Joint Parliamentary Committee and of the ruling AK Party, is an expert on Turkey-EU relations and a frequent contributor to one of the Turkey's leading English-language newspapers, Today's Zaman.
In the present context of political tension between Turkey and France, Mr. Özdalga's talk offers a rare opportunity to gain insight into the opinions of a high-level member of the Turkish government.
