We are in the midst of a holistic history project, "Conflict in the Early Americas: An Encyclopedia of the Spanish Empire's Aztec, Inca, and Mayan Conquests." The work will focus primarily on the causes, effects and details regarding the defeat of the Aztec, Incan, and Mayan civilizations. However, coverage will also include Spanish interactions with lesser-known native groups, examining the subject from a military, political, social, and economic perspective. To receive a list of possible entries, please email Dr. Rebecca Seaman at rmseaman@roadrunner.com. Our goal is to assign these entries out and have them written and submitted by June 2012.
