The Institute of Caribbean Studies, Univ of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras (UPR-RP), invites the academic community and the general public to the lecture “Taso´s Life: Person and Community” by Dr. Sidney W. Mintz, Professor Emeritus, Anthropology Dept., The Johns Hopkins Univ. Dr. Isar Godreau, UPR-Cayey, will present Dr. Mintz and Dr. Juan Giusti Cordero, History Dept., UPR-RP, will comment the lecture. The activity will be held on Thursday, February 23, from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in Amphitheatre Manuel Maldonado Denis (CRA 108) of Carmen Rivera de Alvarado (CRA) Building, Faculty of the Social Sciences, UPR-RP.This lecture will be broadcast LIVE online through the following website: http://www.ustream.tv/channel/cc71
