Acta Germanica, the yearbook of the Association for German Studies in Southern Africa (SAGV), is based in South Africa. It presents current debates and themes pertaining to German literary and cultural studies, and the teaching of German as a foreign language. Preference is given to articles with a focus on German literature on Africa.

Acta Germanica, a peer-reviewed journal, accepts contributions in both German and English.
