The 2012 annual meeting of the Louisiana Historical Association will be held March 1-4 at the Royal Sonesta Hotel in New Orleans. This year's program features distinguished historians of Louisiana and the United States, along with public historians and graduate students from around the state and the nation. The formal program will close with a special plenary session devoted to the 200th anniversary of Louisiana statehood.
