Georgetown's gnovis Spring 2012 Call for Papers
|
gnovis is Georgetown's online peer-reviewed journal devoted to interdisciplinary scholarship at the intersection of communication, culture and technology. Published electronically three times a year, its mission is to present a forum in which graduate students from around the globe may share cutting edge research on the role of new technologies in politics, art, science, culture, and education. For further information, please visit our website at gnovisjournal.org.
We are currently accepting submissions for our Spring 2012 issue but don't delay -- the deadline is Wednesday, February 15. Click here to learn more about our submission guidelines: http://gnovisjournal.org/submit.
We welcome submissions of original research from any discipline in the humanities and social sciences. Papers may address a full range of topics and historical periods. Topics may include, but are not limited to: art and propaganda, gender, race, ethnicity and identity, post-colonial and post-modern theory, nationalism and religion, performance art, photography and film, Web 2.0 and social media, mediated communication and digital representation, art and technology, politics and elections.
To be considered for our Spring 2012 Issue, papers must be submitted by February 15. Submission guidelines are available online: http://gnovisjournal.org/submit. Questions about submissions may be directed to Lauren Barnett, Editor-in-Chief, at lab242@georgetown.edu.
