Participants sought for a panel on religion and war for the 2012 American Studies Association Annual Meeting, to be held in San Juan November 15-18. Panelists are encouraged to consider the topic broadly, and historical as well as contemporary topics welcome. Possibilities include religious resistance to war, military chaplaincy, religious material culture of war, war's effects on religion, and more. If interested, please notify Rebecca Barrett-Fox at email@example.com promptly and send a 2 page CV and 500 word abstract by January 9th.
