Date: 4th April 2012
Venue: Terrace Room, Grove House, University of Roehampton, London
The workshop will explore using ePortfolios in traditional subjects (classics, history, theology/religious studies, philosophy etc.) The workshop is not targeted at providing technical support which will already be available at delegatesí HEIs. Instead, we will focus upon the impact that ePortfolios can have in learning and teaching (varying modes of assessment, delivering feedback and supporting different learning styles.) The particular value of this software in enhancing employability through supporting work placement/internship modules will also be investigated. These sessions will be built around concrete examples from Roehampton Humanities courses and will also acknowledge and explore the challenges posed by using ePortfolios.
This workshop is free but a place must be reserved. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org to book.
