The editors of Alphaville: Online Graduate Journal of Film and Media Studies seek conference and film festival reports for its in-progress third issue, devoted to sound, voice and music in cinema, to be published online in Summer 2012.
Alphaville is a new, fully peer-reviewed, biannual graduate journal that is committed to publishing fresh and original research in the fields of film and media studies. The Editorial Board is comprised of doctoral and post-doctoral researchers at University College Cork. It is the first of its kind in Ireland.
Potential contributors are invited to submit a conference or film festival report (1500-2500 words in MLA style), along with a short bibliography and contact information to the editors by 7 February 2012.
Please contact the editor, Ian Murphy (ian.alphaville@gmail.com), for conference and film festival reports, with any queries at the above email address.
