The 2012 Seminar for Seminary and Religious Studies Faculty is "Understanding Complicity: The Churches’ Role in Nazi Germany", meeting from June 18 - 22, 2012 at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum, Washington, DC. Historian Robert Ericksen will explore the historical and theological dynamics of the complicity of churches in Nazi Germany, with attention to the influence of this history on postwar historical and ethical discussions. Priority is given to religious studies faculty, but faculty from all disciplines are welcome to apply. Applications due March 1, 2012. Accommodations in Washington and partial travel costs will be covered.
