Teacher Institute on the American Civil War free for K-12 educators and education professors. Includes workshops, presentations, an address by Dr. Joan Waugh of UCLA, museum tours, Continuing Education Units, meals, and The Civil War Curriculum.
The event will be held February 25-26, 2012 at the Banning Residence Museum and Drum Barracks Museum in LA.
Scholarships available to cover the cost of travel and lodging.
