Participants are sought for a panel on the corporate form and the role of the corporation in forms of empire and resistance. We invite papers on the historical or contemporary practices of U.S. corporations, especially in the Caribbean and Latin America, and on Caribbean and Latin American corporations, especially as they have interacted with U.S. cultures, peoples, politics and economies. The panel intends to speak across historical periods including the present, span disciplines, and engage with Puerto Rico, the Caribbean, or Latin America alongside the US.

Please send a 500-word proposal, brief CV, and confirmation of current membership to the ASA (or intent to become a member upon acceptance to the panel) by January 6th for consideration.
