Following the success of the previous conference, in June 2011, the Portuguese Network of Urban Morphology / PNUM is launching the second edition of its annual conference with the theme 'Urban Morphology in Portuguese Speaking Countries'. The conference will take place at the Lisbon University Institute / ISCTE from 5 to 6 July 2012, and will include invited presentations, parallel sessions, and a set of social events.
The Organizing Committee and the Scientific Committee of PNUM 2012 invite scholars and professionals to participate in the conference. PNUM 2012 intends to host participants from Portugal and from Portuguese speaking countries: Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, São Tomé and Principe, and finally, East Timor. In this sense, we are pleased to have three researchers from Brazil and Mozambique in the Scientific Committee of the event.
