The iSchools membership has grown since its beginning in 1988 as an informal group of deans from a relatively small group of North American information schools to include programs across the globe that share a commitment to the interdisciplinary study of information and to the preparation of professionals to operate at the intersection of information, technology and people. We encourage researchers and educators to discuss the development, implementation, or evaluation of entire curricula, individual courses, or professional development programs to meet iSchool educational goals, in the Summer 2012 issue of JELIS (Volume 53, no. 3). Major research and research in progress articles, review articles and brief communications are solicited. The complete call can be seen on our website, and we are happy to answer any questions you might have.
