I'm looking to put together a panel for the 2012 SHEAR conference. My work is on women, marriage, and religion in the Early Republic, more specifically on how women and men defined and negotiated the meanings of companionate marriage and republican motherhood. I am look for one or two more presenters to complete a panel, perhaps on marriage in the early republic, family relationships, and/or the impact of religion on either. I would be willing to organize the panel and act as point person.

To create the panel summary and to submit it, I will need: Proposals for each paper (no more than 100 words each). Single-page curriculum vitae for each participant.
