The Editorial Board of The Levantine Review invites submissions for its 2012 volume. A peer-reviewed electronic journal, and Boston College's flagship Middle East Studies publication, The Levantine Review publishes scholarship (in English, French, Arabic, Hebrew, Turkish, and Syriac) on the history, cultures, religions, politics, and the intellectual, philological, and literary traditions of the contemporary Levant and Near East. For its inaugural issue the journal is seeking essays reflecting on “Times Between Old and New; Hopes and Challenges in a Changing Near East.” Authors are welcome to contact the editors prior to submitting manuscripts for consideration. For publication in the 2012 volume, manuscripts should be submitted electronically, through the journal’s website, by January 2, 2012.
For more information on how to register with the journal and begin submitting articles, please visit The Levantine Review's webpage (still under construction.)
