Announcing the Takaful Conference 2012 organized by the John D. Gerhart Center for Philanthropy and Civic Engagement at the American University in Cairo.
The Conference provides an interdisciplinary opportunity to present research in the areas of citizen engagement and philanthropic practice in the Arab region.
Takaful is structured to encourage interaction between scholars and those active in the field, with the hope of contributing to sound policy and practice during an important time of transition
The Conference will be held in Cairo at Oriental Hall, AUC Tahrir Campus, June, 10-12, 2012.
