The purpose of the workshop is to stimulate interest in the examination and caretaking of the cultural heritage of the WW2. The workshop is organized in two parts: the material legacy of war, and questions regarding the witness and the testimony of war. The organizers wish to create a forum for different nations and disciplines, and invite representatives from research institutions, educational institutions and the cultural heritage management systems.
