The Body and Physical Difference area of the Popular Culture conference is soliciting papers that engage the topic of the body, how culture writes meaning onto it, the nature of those meanings, and the implications these inscriptions hold for the bodies so enscribed. We welcome a variety of discipline specific ways of engaging this intriguing question. The Popular Culture national this year meets in Boston, April 11-14,2012.
