Editor seeks a peer-reviewer for a forthcoming book on Frederick Douglass, Harriet Beecher Stowe, and the Fugitive Slave Law. The book is scheduled for publication by Edwin Mellen in 2012 and is roughly 175 pages long. The book explores the implications of the Fugitive Slave Law on the narrative of 1845 and Uncle Tom’s Cabin and how these two books made an impact on the law in nineteenth century America. The tentative deadline is set for February 15th 2012. Please send resumes to Gerry Del Guercio at gerry9301@bell.net.
