H-Net Announcement The First Academic Summit on China-India Cooperation in Hong Kong

China India Fortune Foundation organizes a wide range of events to promote friendship between China and India. This year, CIFF will host the first-ever academic summit on China-India cooperation. The Summit will be hosted annually in major cities of China and India in rotation, including Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Mumbai and New Delhi. The first Summit will be held in Hong Kong on 15th November, 2011 at World Trade Centre Club, Hong Kong. The theme of the first summit is " Prospect of Multi-facet China and India Cooperation and Hong Kong ‘s Role".

The Advanced Institute for Contemporary China Studies of Hong Kong Baptist

University(HKBU) will be the co-organizer of this first Summit. This Summit will also be a joint event to celebrate the 55th Anniversary of HKBU. We are honour to invite Dr. FAN Hsu Lai Tai, Rita (Member of the Standing Committee of the Eleventh National People’s Congress of the PRC), Mr. LEE Yu Leung (Chairman of China India Fortune Foundation) and Prof. WONG Wai Kwok, Rick (Vice-President (Research & Development) of Hong Kong Baptist University)to be our officiating guests.
