Papers are being sought for the conference ‘Dimensions of the Indian Ocean World Past: Sources and Opportunities for Interdisciplinary Work in Indian Ocean World History’, Western Australian Maritime Museum, Fremantle, Western Australia, 12-14 November 2012.
The conference is jointly convened by the Asia Research Centre, Australia Research Council Linkage Grant, Murdoch University, and the Indian Ocean World Centre, Major Collaborative Research Initiative, McGill University.
Conference Convener Professor James Warren (Asia Research Centre, Murdoch University), and the Organising Committee, invite submissions of proposals for papers to be presented at this conference.
A Call for Papers, outlining the conference themes and submission guidelines, is attached to this message. Abstracts should be submitted to iow@murdoch.edu.au by no later than 31 December 2011.
