The Vision Frame Analysis Contest 2011
Zeitgeist Films, Intellect Ltd., and Film Matters are pleased to announce the Vision Frame Analysis Contest 2011, celebrating the release of Vision: From the Life of Hildegard von Bingen (2010). This contest is open to any undergraduate student, currently enrolled at an institution of higher learning (or set to graduate in spring 2011) worldwide and working towards a bachelor’s degree in any field.
Prize
The winner will receive:
1. $500 US dollars
2. A year’s subscription to Film Matters
3. Publication of winning submission in a future issue of Film Matters
4. A Region 1 NTSC DVD copy of Vision: From the Life of Hildegard von Bingen (2010)
5. An audio CD of Hildegard von Bingen music
Directions
To enter, please provide an original written analysis (at least 500 words but no more than 1000 words) of the frame below, using our Vision 2011 contest application form.

Essays should consider elements such as: mise-en-scène, visual style and composition, and exploring the cinematic goals of this frame.
