The Institute of Caribbean Studies, University of Puerto Rico-Río Piedras, as part of its ninth cycle of Conferencias Caribeñas, invites the academic community and the general public to the presentations LECTURESON CLIMATE CHANGE IN THE CARIBBEAN, to be given by Dr. Leonard Nurse,University of the West Indies (UWI), Cave Hill Campus, Barbados, Prof. Hon.
Anthony Chen, UWI, Mona Campus, Jamaica, and Prof. John Agard, UWI, St.Augustine Campus, Trinidad and Tobago, members of the panel awarded the Nobel Peace Prize 2007 for their contributions to this field. The activity will be held on Monday, October 10, 2011, from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon at the Theater of the University of Puerto Rico (UPR-Río Piedras).Admission is free of charge.
