October 14, 2011, 4pm-6pm, Join us at the Tsongas Industrial History Center to celebrate our 20th with a slice of birthday cake, free tours of the Center, commemorative displays, the unveiling of a special anniversary quilt, and of course, hands on fun!
The Tsongas Industrial History Center is a cooperative educational project of the University of Massachusetts Lowell Graduate School of Education and the National Park Service at Lowell National Historical Park. The Tsongas Industrial History Center's core offerings include hands-on workshops and place-based tours for students in grades 3-12, in-school programs, local and national teacher professional development workshops, and specialized programs for college students, faculty and staff. Our content focus ranges from history (including related literature and art) to science, technology and engineering programs.
As we celebrate this 20-year anniversary, we invite you to take part in our series of special events. If you have visited us before, come back and see how we have grown. If you are new to the Tsongas Industrial History Center, we welcome you to explore all that we have to offer.
Our year-long series of events includes something for everyone. Take a look and join in the celebration!
