This series explores the meaning of modernity in the era of sustainability. Sustainability conceives of itself too narrowly if it merely sets itself the task to develop new technologies using the old reifying methods of investigation. Therefore the series is intended as an interdisciplinary platform for intra-, inter-, and trans-disciplinary dialogues among the sciences, social sciences and humanities, exploring issues of social, cultural, economic, and environmental sustainability. We invite works on such topics as foundational philosophical discussions of sustainability, theoretical approximations, the philosophy of science, ethnographic investigations, case studies, sustainable urban planning, theology and sustainability, religion and sustainability. nterested scholars should submit CV, proposal outline, and sample chapters to: Sandra.Wynands@zu.ac.ae
