•Name and school
•The title of the nominated article
•The article submitted in a Microsoft Word attachment
•A one hundred-word abstract on the first page

Articles must conform to the following guidelines:

•Between ten and twenty-five pages in length, inclusive of footnotes
•Include footnotes and a bibliography in line with the current Chicago Manual of Style
•Double-spaced with one-inch margins in 12pt Times New Roman font

Note* Please do not include your name anywhere in the document in order to preserve the anonymity of the author during the selection process.

Submissions are expected to meet high academic standards. Manuscripts must have an original thesis, be in dialogue with the relevant literature, and rely heavily on primary source material. Carefully researched historiographical works and book reviews are also welcome.

All manuscripts will undergo a thorough review by all members of the editorial board. If deemed necessary, the board may request that the author make minor or major revisions to his or her work before being published.
